1st Game 12 April - TE KUITI
Here are the details boys for our first game for 2014. This game will also see the launch of our NEW playing gear. This will be the 1st game of 3 for the year with our 4th and final game in October held in Brisbane when we tour to the GC. Anyway we are heading down to Te Kuiti and there will be various vans running from Auckland / EBOP to the game. We have plenty of players and subs, so come along for a run and then SUBBBBB! We are being hosted by our Maniapoto Whanau and they have arranged our kai and sleeping arrangements for the weekend. The cost for the weekend is $40 each to make up the koha to the Tokanganui a noho Marae. Its preferable if this is deposited into the account.

Saturday 12th April
1030am: Arrive Te Kuiti
11:00am: Powhiri at Te Tokanganui a noho Marae
12:00: Kapu Ti - Briefing of the days events
1.00pm: Non Champs can watch the Aunties Pukekohe V's Te Kuiti Netball Champs to get ready for the game.
2.00pm: Tipene Old Boys V's Te Kuiti
5.00pm: Prizegiving / Hakari - Te Kuiti Quota Club, Taupiri St, Te Kuiti
7.00pm: Entertainment...... (Open dance floor for Doris and the Hobbits)
Sunday 13th April
8:00am: Pack Up / Clean Up
09:00am: Breakfast
10:00am: Poroporoaki
What to bring: Linen / Blankets Toiletries We want as many boys in some sort of Tipene Merchandise after the game. Have you paid your $40.
Also we will require a waiata to sing and of course we are expected to bust out the Ko Wai Ra before the game. Suggested song Whitiora but open to suggestions.
Transport: Auckland: There is a 12 seater and 8 seater van departing Takanini at 8am SHARP!

Gold Coast Tour 9-12 Oct
The dates are locked in. Our opposition is locked in. Flights are locked in. We are playing the Sunnybank Puffing Dragons.
Basic itinerary is
9th Oct Thur- Fly In / Free Time / Meet QLD OB's
10th Oct Fri - AM Golf / Free Time / Night Game- Brissy/ Hangi
11th Oct Sat- Free Time/Shopping/Beach/Wet n Wild/BBQ Dinner with QLD OB's
12th Oct Sun- Return Home - Those wanting to stay a bit longer will need to advise. I have booked 50 seats with Air NZ.
The cost per seat is Adults $690 or for children $630 (Age 2-11) To secure a seat I need a $50 deposit from those keen by the 17th of FEBRUARY. The balance needs to be paid by the 1st SEPTEMBER. This allows a few months to pay it off. But it is crucial that we get the $50 deposits in to secure the seats. Some of you may choose to find your own flights but in most cases your need to pay up the full amount. At least with the group booking you have time to pay it off and spread out the cost. If you want to pay it in full then that's ok to.

Our accommodation is tentatively booked at Biarritz Apartments take a tour on their website. www.biarritz.com.au. In all honesty you should be budgeting for a round figure of $1000.00 per person to cover flights/accommodation/bus transport/meals plus spending money and Golf- This will be a pay your own. We are negotiating best possible deals.
